1/18/08: My name
is Lady (but my friends have called me Lady Bug).
I am a 4 year old yellow lab that needs a forever
home that will suit my shy nature. You see, I am one
of those girls that gets frightened easily....new
people, strange places, loud noises...they make me
cower and want to hide. I am working with a
trainer who is showing me that I don't have to be
scared and he is introducing me to new people and
taking me to new places. I am slowly coming to
understand that I can have lots of fun doing new
things, but I am probably going to be happiest in a
quiet home. I love to be around people once I
can slowly get to know and trust them. I will
be a tail-wagging, ball-fetching typical lab at that
point. I really enjoy going for long walks and
am very well behaved on a leash. I am hoping that a
home is out there that will make me a member of
their family and will let me show them what a great
companion I am, despite my little quirks.
