6/27/08: It's me again, Nikita. I don't
understand why no one has been interested making me
a member of their family. I don't know what I can
do differently. I am very very sweet, I'm
housebroken, I love all people old and young, big
and little, male and female. I get along great with
other dogs and I'm really really happy all of the
time. I can play with other dogs; with my toys;
with my people. I've been told I am very easy and
just a pleasure to be around. I can only think my
age is deterring anyone from considering me for
adoption and that is very sad. It's hard for me to
understand why someone won't take a chance on me by
giving me the best years of my life for the time I'm
here. I am very happy go lucky and Nancy has no
reservations about me being adopted to a family,
with children, without children, with other dogs,
without other dogs, with a young family, with an
older family. I am in excellent health except for
my allergies which have been treated. I take only
an antihistamine 3 times a day and a skin supplement
in my food. Both are very inexpensive and our
medical gal Amy, can recommend the most inexpensive
place to buy them.
As you can see from my new pictures, my coat is
growing in nicely since on my meds.. Granted, I'm
no SHOW DOG (as much as I'd like to be). I am a
RESCUE DOG, AND ONE OF THE BEST RESCUE DOGS
EVER! And honestly folks...aren't you on our site
to find a great rescue dog like me? I love to walk
on a leash and I don't pull at all; I love to play;
I love to run (well "run" isn't exactly right)...OK
jog is more the word I'm looking for. Though I'm
built like a linebacker, I'm not a bully at all!

page and look at Roxy (and she's older than me,
almost 11 now) playing with one of her
people....this is what I hope to find. I am sure
that whoever adopts me, will be happy they did for
every day of his or her life, and that is my goal in
life. You make the plans and I'm in. I'll be happy
doing whatever you decide we should do as long as we
are together. If I sound like the right match for
your home (and quite honestly, it's hard for me to
imagine I wouldn't be) please email Nancy so we can
meet. I just know one meeting is all it would take!
