3/28/08: Noble
is truly one amazing dog! He was surrendered
to NJBR after he was hit by a car. The
accident caused severe nerve damage to his front
leg. Doctors felt that this leg was only
keeping him down. They couldn’t have been more
right about that! Noble’s leg was amputated
and he was up and walking on 3 legs the day after
surgery.
After much TLC, he is heeling nicely. His
foster parents had a hard time keeping his activity
“limited” due to his playfulness! He is a
non-stop ball of boxer energy. With his new
freedom, he can run circles around his foster
siblings. He wrestles and “boxes” constantly
with his foster brother. He loves his walks
and gets very excited when we put our coats or pull
out the leashes for our daily walk. Noble does
not care nor worry about having 3 legs.
Through all this, he has had a positive attitude and
gentle demeanor. He is happy all the time just
to have a playmate, ball to chase or buddy to
snuggle with.
Although Noble loves everyone he meets, he can be
a little shy when meeting new people. He has
shown much confidence and security when he is in the
presence of his foster siblings. He follows
his foster siblings everywhere and seems to take
their lead. Due to this, Noble will only be
adopted to a home with another dog.
He will make a great addition to someone’s
family….if they are lucky enough to get him! If you
can give Noble a forever home, please contact Kerry.
