2/8/08:
Meet Polar
a wonderful young boy. He is deaf but follows the
lead of other dogs and LOVES other dogs. Polar is
very intuitive with other dogs he seems to be the
neutral dog in the pack. Polar is submissive to
dominate males and females, he is being fostered
with a dominate female, another female & male. Polar
has been introduced to a dominate male, when
he met this dominate male he rolled on his
back then bounced to a play bow to play with him.
Polar is crate trained and almost “bell” trained to
go outside to do his business. He does have food
aggression and that situation needs to managed by a
VERY dog savvy home. Polar’s adoptive home must be a
home that has a current playful dog, a fence,
children over the age of 12, and a home that’s
willing to be in charge as his pack leader to manage
his food aggression with out any hesitation. He is a
wonderful dog with many great qualities.
He only needs the chance to be the good dog
he can be.
If you're TRULY ready to give Polar a second
chance at a forever home, please read our adoption
policies, process, complete an application for
adoption and email his contact person. ONLY serious
applicants that posses the above criteria
should apply.
